Our Editorial Team

Susan Clark

Susan Clark is an award-winning, Emmy-nominated journalist and author who has written about nutrition, health, and wellness for 27 years. She has developed content for articles, reports, books, videos, and television news segments featuring some of today’s top alternative and integrative doctors. She earned a bachelor of science in broadcast journalism from Texas Christian University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two sons, and numerous pets.

Michael Sellar is a British writer who has spent over 30 years in the natural health industry. He has worked as a consultant nutritionist, lecturer to natural health professionals, newsletter editor, and writer. He also created and managed a website for twenty years promoting the work of natural therapists in his local community. He lives in rural England.

Carl Lowe has decades of experience writing about health and nutrition for many publications, including Prevention Magazine and Self Magazine (where he served as the food and nutrition editor). He has authored and edited over 10 books about natural health, nutrition, and other subjects. He edited The Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons Complete Home Medical Guide and was the nutrition editor for a Time-Life book series on health and nutrition. As a musician, he played viola with the Yale Symphony and bass with the Tommy Dorsey Band, and he has appeared on national TV.

Carol Parks is a seasoned researcher, writer, and editor with over 22 years of experience in health, wellness, nutrition, and dietary supplements. She most recently served as a director at UltraBotanica, a company specializing in advanced nutrient delivery at the cellular level. Prior to that, she spent 17 years as a senior writer for Dr. Joseph Mercola, a pioneering figure in the field of alternative medicine. Outside of her professional work, Carol enjoys pickleball, fitness, gourmet cooking, and travel. She is the proud mother of five and grandmother of twelve, and currently resides in Norman, Oklahoma.

Natalie earned a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.), Environmental Health from the University of Louisville. A diligent researcher, writer, and editor she brings over twenty years of hands-on experience in Eastern and Western healthcare to her articles. Over the last decade, she has collaborated with public health researchers and some of the top minds in natural medicine for articles, books, and newsletters. She lives in Maryland with her husband, son, cat, and two rescue dogs.
